Training U.S. Veterans to Integrate and Program Fairino Cobots in San Diego
At Fairino US, we believe meaningful careers change lives. Rifles to RobotsTM is our veteran-focused training initiative that helps servicemembers and spouses transition into high-demand roles in robotics integration, programming, and field service—centered on Fairino collaborative robots and real production workflows.
Our Mission
Give veterans a clear path from military skills to modern manufacturing careers—with training that’s hands-on, affordable, and aligned with employer needs across Southern California and beyond.
What the Program Delivers

Industry skills, fast: A practical curriculum built around Fairino FR-series cobots, DH Robotics grippers, vision systems, and safety.

Hands-on projects: Trainees wire panels, teach pick & place, set up palletizing, and commission machine-tending demos.

Career support: Resume help, mock interviews, employer days, and intros to our integrator & distributor network.

Community & mentorship: Learn alongside other veterans; get paired with an
industry mentor.
Who Is It For

U.S. veterans, transitioning servicemembers, Guard/Reserve, and military spouses seeking skilled, durable careers in automation.

No prior robotics experience required—mechanical, electrical, or IT aptitude helps
Training Outline (San Diego, On-Site)
Duration: 4 weeks, full-time (evening/weekend cohorts available).
Location: Devonics Demo Lab, San Diego, CA.
Week 1: Cobot Foundations
Safety & risk basics (collaborative modes); FR-series overview; hand-guiding; Smart Tool teaching; I/O mapping.
Week 2: EOAT & Vision
DH Robotics grippers, vacuum systems, quick-change tooling; pick verification; Keyence smart camera basics; barcode/QR.
Week 3: Applications
Pick & place patterns, palletizing flows, machine tending with drawer index, finishing (sanding/polishing) with force control.
Week 4: Commissioning & Career
Cell bring-up, cycle-time checks, documentation (BOMs, wiring, risk notes), mock FAT/SAT; resume & interview prep; employer day.
Graduates earn a Devonics–Fairino
Certificate of Completion and access to ongoing labs and job leads.
